I may be the oddball here. But with all the chrome on the front, and chrome wheels... I think it looks better with the size mouldings. But only on yukons because they are colormatched.

Now there's nothing on the side to tie in the chrome wheels...

I was on the fence about removing them, and I probably wouldn't have... But the passenger side front door molding was messed up, so it got removed. Liked the look, so off came the rest. Working on some Esky handles for the side and then color matched front and rear bumpers and grille. So only chrome will be the wheels and Esky handles.

I dipped mine. They were a little sun faded, plus I hated the plastic chrome strip. If I could, I would've taken them off, but driver side was repainted and the trim was taped off and painted around, so there was an edge of paint. Hope I'm explaining that right.

Are you going to leave the chrome strip?

I'm not sure how the black mouldings will look with the totally black rims.
Since it's a light colored truck.

i want this look right here. accents black and all. i think ittl look good if i do the right type of black on the strips. if you get up close on those strips they look worn out i gotta do something. those metal chrome is scratched off most part on them. im thinking since the plastidip satin is the matte with a topcoat i can matte the strips and see how it looks from there? that 3m plastic wrap said it was matte

If your looking for an all dip look, heres mine, don't get me wrong plastidip is a great product and a great idea but maintenance on the grille with dead bugs and brake dust on the rims is what made me steer away from it, had to touch it up all the time and it water spots like crazy, thats just my experience. I originally had my moulding dipped too but the NBS just looks so damn clean without them.
