Best Leveling Kit for 2012 Z71

I have a 2012 Z71 and want to install a leveling kit. What is the best size? I am not going to put bigger tires, I just like the evened out look a lot better.
Also, who makes the best kit?

Google "ccm off road". They make a 2.5/1 leveling kit for 07+ vehicles that a lot of people on this forum have used. I actually just bought one myself but haven't had time to go install it yet.

So is that 2.5 in the front and then 1 in the rear?
What is the purpose of the rear spacer?

Yes sir that is correct. The 1" rear spacer makes it leveled

So I guess the next question is: can you just do a 1.5" spacer for the front?
Also, does it look goofy if you keep the stock rims/tires?

I have a 2inch daystar on the front and left the rear alone, i still have the stock rims but put 285/65 nittos on, when i had the stock tires it looked good too. You can go with a 1.5 in the front and leave the rear alone.

I used this one because I did not want to cut the studs at he top of the strut. I have had the CCM before and had no complaints with it though. I just ordered a 3/4" spacer for the rear because I measured the rear and its a little under 3/4" from being leveled. Wit the front.

Yes, but not that specific kit. I have their 2.25/1.5 kit. I found their kit to be very easy to install in the driveway. The directions were very clear and included instructions. I couldn't be happier with what I ended up with. Very good product experience so far. Installation did not require hassling with the front strut upper mounting bolts.

For stock sized tires I would recommend going with a 1.5" front lift. This will take the majority of the rake out of the truck yet won't have you sagging with the back loaded up.
Attached is a pic of one we did a few weeks ago, '12 Tahoe Z71 with 1.5" front lift and 18x9" XD Addict wheels with stock tires, rides freaking great and no rubbing at any time.

I bought this for my 2012 Z71 tahoe. Installed it myself in a parking lot and did not have to unbolt anything except the shock/strut on the bottom. Slid the blocks underneath and bolted it back. The key to this is using a bar that is atleast 3' long to pry the coilover up 2" when you slide the blocks under. Really simple and cheap way to lift your truck. I got 2.5" out of this and it rides the same and all my CV joints are still aligned perfect.

Keep in mind the old Z71 tahoes had torsion bars and replacing the keys on them really messed with the angles of the CV axle and the ride quality. But this keeps everything perfect.
