Best jump box?

Well, mine failed me in my time of need. Even fully charged, it just didn't have the balls to get me turned over and started from a dead drain.

I'm aware project farm did a video on it. Just looking for more insight. The more the merrier!

I don't really care if it's one of the compact lithium ones or a standard lead-acid brick. I just want something that'll ******' work when I ask it. And something beefy enough to work in cold weather. I suppose the only stipulation here is I don't really want to build my own. I mean, I could, but I'm just not feeling it.

A friend of mine got this one to carry in his 2013 F350. He also carries one in his boat. He’s helped a few folks with it and started his boat once when he had battery issues out on the river.

The small lithium ones always worked for me.
I bought a over priced Rockford industry jump pack off the snap on truck 5 years ago. Still works.

I have a Genius Boost. I want to say the model is GB40, but I am not 100% sure. It has worked well for me so far. I keep it in the console of my tahoe.

I ended up getting a gb70. Could split hairs about units but I saw a bunch of tests on facetube to be reasonably satisfied it would work for this rig. It's astoundingly difficult to find good info on different jump packs. Project farm did a decent video but even that barely scratches the surface of the info I'd want. Meh

It started his F-350 6.7L Diesel the other morning in 10F temps after his son let the battery run down overnight. His son had the "pleasure" of standing out in the cold with him while he got it started.

They're all listed into the thousands, so that's a lot of misprints. I'd like to know how they get off rating it like that. Even 400 amps is quite a lot of juice for that size wire. Who knows...

Heat over time. I'm sure it could pass 4k for a fraction of a second. Now whether the battery pack could supply enough current to overcome the resistance and resultant voltage drop through the whole loop? *shrug*

some 1 tested the 1000 version

spoiler it only made 243amps at 7 volts NOT enough to start a modern car (computers require at lest 11volts to wake up)

Bought this one last year and have been nothing but impressed. Can't say it putting out 1500A but haven't found something it couldn't start. From fours to v8's ,v10's and a buddies f450 that had been sitting for a month in chilly temps.

i had a few of those tiny convinient ones leave me out in the cold with a weak battery. had to call a co worker to come jump me with cables. i got this and no lie have jumped over 30 cars of different sizes makes and models on a single charge including maybe mine 5 or 6 times with that. everytime i see someone stuck ill stop and ask if they need and jump and this never let me down. get this and never look back:
