belt and tensioner replacement

planing to do the belt and tensionor does the tensionor actually need to be replace or just put a new belt


the total costs with the tensionor would be 89$ for OEM parts the belt is almost completely worn through

Do both, as the tensioner spring gets weak over time.. It is an easy replacement, and should take well under 1 hour to perform.
sorry i posted this the in the wrong area should be in the 2007-14 the Tensioner is unloaded no drive accessories besides the water pump..

@Fless Can you move this thread accordingly?

I changed the tensioner in my 07, and I suggest that you do the same.

@BG1988 Do the idler pulley too if you have it on that Hybrid motor. These are the part numbers for my 2009 and 2012 and 2013 5.3 and 6.2s 1684782059080.png
