Battery swap

Got a question about a battery. The original factory battery is on its last leg and I have a year old xs power 3400 that I had sitting in the garage for 7 months from a different truck.
The xs battery voltage was
12.2 resting before charge
12.7 after being charged
14.2 while on the charger.

What are you thoughts. Good to go or consider buying a new battery

I same or nearly same capacity I'd use the battery. No real high tech stuff in the 01 machine. Batteries are expensive these days.

Take the battery after you charge it to a local auto parts store with a bench (not in the truck) load tester. This is the best measure for the health of your current battery.
