Wife fell in love with mine other than the "man shit" as she calls it. Plus we got rid of her Jeep Compass so we were looking to give her my Tahoe or sell and get a different one. Still may sell mine but this happened yesterday.

Everything she was looking for and the few things I was looking for (4WD and less than 130k miles, I wanted to get into a newer year like 2011, but this works too). Only thing we would prefer different was not being black, but we are pretty happy with it. One owner (no kids!) at least it seems like it. Carpet is in great conduction as well as all rear seats and at 124k miles. Had some small issues like the pass side power fold mirror just stutters around and doesn't fold in and it may have a small rear main seal leak (easy fix for me) and the A/C was making some noise so we were able to talk home down about 1900 from asking price. Got it for 18500 OTD. Feel like it was pretty good deal. Suspension is also solid and has new tires. Shocks look fairly new.

Gotta look into the power at take off though, it's a bit sluggish, not sure if it's the rear end gears or just how these 6 speeds are.

If I end up selling this Tahoe will take over this page most likely but don't expect too much out of it. It's the wife's daily and will be our road trip truck. But I will be adding some things to it. I'll update later.

Only thing I ordered last night was spacer for the base of the strut of 2". Enough to get it to where it's not nose diving and looking good for me. That will be the just of the suspension until I get another travel trailer then I'll add helper bags and better shocks.

Forgot to mention that the grille guard will be going on mine most likely, not sure if I will paint to match or not since I may be selling or move it over at all but the wife doesn't like it, "man shit" again. At least she doesn't want to make it pink on black, so I can deal with it.

Thanks man. So far had no real issues just gotta get back with the dealer on a new key fob I can't get the second one to relearn. Also the factory nav always makes weird noises like a cd is in it but nothing in there. Anyone have a clue what that might be?

Drove 2.5 hours this morning to pick up my Tahoe then drove 2.5 hours back. Then went strait to the dealer I was working with and traded the Tahoe in for this bad boy. Loaded Sierra Z71 All Terrain Edition w/ a 5.3L. It was kind of sad driving off today knowing all the work I put into my Tahoe but got a pretty good deal for it and now I won't have to do as much work to my truck to get it to a point that I'm happy with.

Guess I can use TapaTalk to upload pics.

This thing is nice and pretty low miles at 140k for an 08 model. I will be throwing my tow mirrors on here most likely and eventually work on a few other mods but nothing big anytime soon. Do need to find some steps for wife and kids.

PB pics having issues but son of a gun an see one at moment. Another crew cab replaces a Tahoe. Enjoy man!!

Yes but I'm still rolling the Z71 tahoe and will be working on both of them some here and there. Still not sure if I want to remove the grille guard or not on the Tahoe but the bull guard on the GMC will for sure be coming off soon. Not my cup of tea. Will also be debadging the GMC as well, maybe the Tahoe, not sure yet.

Crew cab ftw! @Fosscore a white crew cab would match your burb better than a blue tahoe. Lol. @AppocAlexx nice choice on the sierra, just got an 07 cc sierra denali myself.

I was at the shop thinking I should have removed those running boards they might have looked good on my sierra but o well I'm happy with this tuck as is for now. But after I have looked at the truck some more I think some smaller steps would looks better than bulky ones like those RBPs I'm going to start looking atound see what I can find.

Finally got my tools back and getting some time to get my tow mirrors installed. So far the driver side has 3 LED lights out for the turn signal on the mirror. Gotta see about getting a new glass to get them fixed. Not sure on the make of these mirrors but will do some digging later.

The reverse lights won't be hooked up right now either until I find out what wire under my dash is the right one to tap into, but I did run the wires through the door harness into the floorboard for now. The wire should be the same as our Tahoes so will have to dig that up as well.

Next will be a leveling kit for this truck and I think that will suffice for awhile. Later I will get the chrome caps on the mirrors painted to match as well. Baby steps, baby steps.
