I have a 2026 RST with the regular crap brakes. I see you can buy the Brembo package for about the same price as optioning it.

Says comes with all parts and instructions, as well as requires a program update.

Has anyone done this? Was it as striding forward as it looks? I’ve replaced tons of brakes and calipers on other vehicles.

I bought them as an option with my vehicle, and they were installed at the dealership before delivered. It's just too easy to do it that way. Plus, the front sensors work, and they are covered under warranty. Installation and product.

I already have my truck and I’m not paying a dealer to install these. It’s an RST with the performance package but it’s only missing the brembos. I can go to the build and price and it’s a 4k option so it’s actually cheaper to add it yourself after which is crazy.

Looks like the instructions say I can install all myself and the dealer just needs to flash the brake module.

the smartest move looks to be to wait until my stock pads/rotors are done and then upgrade at that time. I’ll probably do that.

Just wanted to know if anyone has done it is all and for any tips or things to make it easier.

Going to add the parts to my 2021 Suburban this spring. I am slowly gathering all of the parts. I think I will use a different brake pad though as there is a lot of talk about the semi metallic pads and lots of brake dust. Rock Auto has the calipers at around $420 a piece. They are the most expensive parts.

After driving my 2024 Tahoe for 2 years I am loving it but the weak part is the brakes.

I ordered the GM Brembo performance kit for the front brakes and they told me it’s in.
For those of you who have had this installed, is there anything else needed?
I’m assuming it’s got the pads and everything needed but is there anything else to consider before making the appointment for the install?
I’m using my dealership that I bought the Tahoe from to do the job.
