I've been trying to find dyno graphs (pre and post tune) for the new DI 6.2L and can't find any.
Anybody with a BB tune on a dyno,
Care to post pre and post curves?

Most people with the 2015s won't have dyno sheets, as there are not many AWD dynos that can fit that vehicle.

Also looking for AFR graphs... Seen a bunch of really lean "street" and "email" tunes that used just the narrow band O2 and seat of the pants tunes... Just one heat wave and or arco gas fill up away from a big knock event.

(Tunes on other non GM platforms)

I know this is an old(ish) thread but I've been pretty pleased with my KPE tune. Paid $450 for it and the tuner module to install it myself and it REALLY woke up my '15 Escalade.

It's another option for you guys to look into at least. :)

I've got their cat back exhaust coming soon too and will post up a video or 2 to show off the sound once I get it installed.

Did you get both the ECM and TCM tuned? KPE resells IPF tunes.

It shouldn't shift like a racecar, but honestly that is where most of the benefits are on these newer vehicles.

Just sucks that you paid almost the same amount for just an engine tune, that you could have spent on both and engine or transmission tune. Even then, most dyno tunes are even in that ballpark. It is a shame to see people spending big money on tunes that are not even taking datalogging into account. No two vehicles are the same.

I don't really consider $450 "big money" in comparison to my $80k+ truck. Hell that's less than half of one car payment! :)

Regardless, like I said, I'm very happy with the engine tune I received and at this point in time, have no reason to do anything further. If I decide to do the tranny tune down the road, they'll hook me up on price for being a repeat customer and for being a Cadillac Forum member, so I'm not really worried about it. Won't be more than an extra $100 or $150.

Just making sure all the info is out there. Lots of misconception when it comes to the computers and modding.

While I agree Jenna about the dyno (except you can have a horrible "tuner" on a dyno do horrible things, but a good tuner can do more amazing things on a properly set up dyno and a realistic fan set up, I'd love to have them tune my truck on a dyno....)

I do think that the best thing out is bears system for the engine tune and the trains tune.

Now this is an assumption on my part, as I've had an automatic tuned on a different truck by a different company in the past, but I told them what I liked and didn't like, and with the addition of a John wood valve body, they tuned the transmission computer to do what "I" wanted.

... I imGine that Bear can do that too.
