What should I use to stick this back on .. a cement ? Or glue of what kind ? It happened last time I washed it rag barely touched it so I think someone did a temp fix on it before I got it .. and I need to replace the 2 SLT emblems also . There like bubbling up. I'm starting to think it's been thru acouple crazy high pressure auto car washes .
And I'm still buffing off the lime and auto car wash wonder wax . It takes meguiars heaviest compound to get the lime off or wonder car wash wax . Got one side 3/4 done . It's a huge project .
You don't understand XL till you start buffing and waxing a Yukon XL . I'm only guessing it hasn't been buffed and waxed for years. [emoji849][emoji106]

Use a piece of fishing string or similar like a hack saw to cut the emblem off through the mounting tape. Use an eraser wheel on a drill to remove the adhesive from the body panel and back of emblem. Then cut new 3M tape to fit and re-install.

I got some of that aircraft adhesive remover. Going to give that a try. and I found a 3M adhesive that said it's for external ...outside . Got it from the auto store . $35 and I haven't started getting emblem off yet. Need find newer fishline . Mine was brittle and it breaks too easy might be 15 years old .. lol

I used a plastic pry tool and a heat gun to loosen the glue the harder part was getting it off the emblem. An eraser wheel took care of the truck. Test your adhesive remover somewhere else before using it on your door
