Another rear air not working post ...

Ok, so I'm Daimbranaged.... Can I just show a
Picture. I read posts, but retention is 9/10ths
Of it right....
Our rear puppy palace's air was not working..
So with y'all's help I removed the ac cover.
In first pic in the unit in ?...
The circled part is cold, but the air is not getting to the X parts.
Hope it's an easy fix... Remember 1st line of this post... Thank you

Ohh yeah, second picture is our Kandy.
And 3rd is a lil wire connector I found in there
Not goin nowhere... Thanks for your time...

Person I bought it from put console in,
Didn't hook any controls up.....
I'm new to this would this be an issue?
And no I'm not testing anyone... Permanent brain fart from a horse fall. Thanks

Don't see the two actuators that control the rear AC flow. One is mode and one is temperature. Not sure what that connection is for.

Charm.il and or AllDataDIY are your friends there. Do you have a bi-directional scan tool or one that can read BCM codes? This will help you to accurately diagnose the rear AC.

I think they put the actuators on the backside at some point. Need to loosen the whole unit so you can tilt it away from body.

The suspected bad actuator would be on the right side if the circle you drew.

And that wire might be a duct temp, but I think it runs forward and connects somewhere.

Don't think you need rear controls connected.

The wire was to a side window defroster,
It is a bad acctuator. As long as I don't put it on heater again. Once it goes to heater it won't switch back to cold. As for the roof ducts,where the air goes up into roof. It's not plugging into anything in roof. Thanxz for your help
