Another coolant leak thread

When a heater core first starts to leak/seep you can smell coolant sometimes. If leaks enough you can see or feel coolant on passenger floor or can leak out of the a/c evaporator sweat drain hole.

Good idea. Tried that earlier and the smell didn't get any stronger. Now I'm questioning if the heater core is even leaking. How often did the GMT800's have leaky heater cores, if anyone has an idea?
