Why not? There's nothing all that special about a Z71 that should deter anyone from dropping it

Looks nice. I would have just dropped the back 2" to level it out.

This is just my opinion but if someone buys the "z71 offroad" package truck I would think they would lift it or something I have the same logic about a escalade thats lifted. Again not my money or truck. and i won't bash it but my logic just never understood it.

Yeah I can see that if someone went specifically looking for a Z71 because they wanted to go off-road. When we were looking for our burb I didnt care if it was 2wd or 4wd. I just wanted a clean, unmolested burb and we got what we got. It's a 4wd but we never put it in 4wd unless there's deep snow. If it would have been a Z71 I'd most likely have done the same thing as I did to my current but as well as taken off those Z71 flares

I was just curious. There are many that are anti-lift on 2wd and anti-lower on 4wd when I'm more about do what you want lol

Rest assured the 2 door Pos will be lowered and its 4x4 so that doesn't bother me . already got a Photoshop of it and its happening

Mine is a 4WD and I didn't have a second thought about lowering it. I think it gives a cleaner look and unless you do a lot of off-roading the 4WD function is still very helpful in adverse driving conditions. Most roads are plowed well enough whereas a person doesn't need a huge amount of ground clearance to get around.

Z71's look better lowered due to the flares and semi built-in running boards. The standard LT's just look plain to me.
