Whats going on everyone? So Im going to tackle the music in my hoe this weekend and was looking around under the hood. Where did you guys poke through the firewall? I think theres a spot by the column but thats on the other side if the engine bay. Its 4 gauge, 97 Tahoe 5.7. Thanks in advance for the replies.

I ran mine from the battery, across the radiator shroud, up the driver fender well toward the accessory box, then drilled through the firewall near the column and brake/e-brake pedals... check both sides of the firewall before drilling and make sure you add a grommet before snaking the wire through.

On my '92 2 door Blazer there was an opening on the passenger side firewall. Comes out at the top of the passenger footwell under the dash. That's the best place to run it IMO.

Be honest with you doesnt matter what amp kit you hook up unless you tackle the big 3. google it and your music issues will vanish. I got 3 tvs xbox 360 and a big ass amp with no dim issues ever. Got a horseshit amp kit but big 3 done with knukonceptz 0/1 gauge wires....
