am i the only person who dislikes my bilsteins

i have bilstein 5100 on all four corners of my 2000 new style tahoe and it litterall rides terrible for a big suv i feel any bump in the road over a small crack any other suggestions for smoother shocks
btw i also installed new springs

Its the truck and design, try the factory shocks for a ride then compare to the 5100s. If your not happy with them try the 5160 or some with resis

Bilstein's ride like crap anyway. They were terrible in my F250 also.. I'd look into Fox and just be done.

I was on Z71 springs for my old 01 I sold. Don't know the part numbers but try a search on rock auto for oem shocks. Should be AC Delco brand name. Like Pockets said if you don't like the quality move up to a better shock like King, Icon, or Fox. The Bilstein 5150s as they have resis and ride far better than 5100s. The 5100s are the best bang for the buck on simple good shocks for lifted rides. After that the price goes up!

i removed the air ride system on my 04 denali and put the billstiens on and hated it. Very stiff bumpy ride.

Im stock ride height with z71 springs in the rear i new they would make it a little stiffer but this is unnaceptable
Thinking about trying the monroe oe spectrums but they dont offer a z71 shock

PM ME i have some belltech sp shocks I have no problem sending out for you to test and see how you like ride.
