Got it covered
TYF Newbie
I searched a little, couldn`t find what I was looking for, but don`t hesitate to point me.
First off my vehicle, 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe LT, 4wd, 5.3, 4L60e, NVG246
First the ABS, originally ON rarely, it seemed as bumps controlled the light, typical of control module solder joints. Had it scanned while driving with a Snap On laptop, code CO265, all sensors operable, pump motor operable. While researching modules I came across a USED module that was "guaranteed" by seller !! After installing module the motor ran constantly (ignition on or off) Pulled the fuse immediately. Back to more research, A rebuilder with excellent credentials was contacted and I gave him the history of the module and the swap with the used unit, he assured me there was no damage done, So I sent my original module to him for rebuild. After my original module was returned I installed it, now the ABS light will not go out and throws a CO267. He said he replaced the relay along with re soldering joints and would possibly have to replace the IC chip, which he would have to order. That was January 12/26. So here I sit, broken hearted BLA BLA BLA
I`m a very patient man, but now my blood is boiling !! So much so he`s getting a phone call NOW !!
