Interesting information in this thread.
I'm assuming the same thing would be the case with the "airraid modular intake tube" ?

I'd be interested in a little more sound when I step on it. Not looking to make this a race car. I have another vehicle for that..
That being said, I don't want to lose low end power/torque if that's the case with this.

I will say this, I still want the MIT for appearance, I think it looks better.

But I made very similar gains just by trimming the factory filter box. Actually so much so, that I started small and quickly created a dead spot in the throttle response. I had to adjust the tune to correct the issue.

Low rpm, lower speed, moderate throttle input...it bogged and stumbled.

Generally I just open up the front as much as possible, this time I get going for more.
