At 7500 miles, my air cabin filter in my 2025 Yukon is already smelling musty. Which filter does everyone recommend?

I always use OEM filters.

You are smelling a musty odor. Are you sure it is the HVAC air filter?

Try removing the HVAC air filter and then using the vehicle in the same manner you did when smelling the musty odor.

If the odor is still present, you have another issue (such as a slow draining a/c line or mold growth on your front a/c evaporator).

If the odor is gone, simply replace the HVAC air filter.

Do you always use the recirculate setting? That can cause an odor sometimes as the evaporator doesn't get washed down from the outside humidity.

Have a good look inside the heater box through the filter opening to see what you can see.

I use the charcoal filters.

If the musty smell persists, have your dealership activate the "Afterblow" feature. This runs the fans under certain conditions after you leave the vehicle to dry out the evaporator.
