Hello,

New to this forum, I'm looking to upgrade the bulbs on my newly purchased 2015 Yukon XL. I don't want HID or anything extravagant. Just some good replacement bulbs for head lamps, fog lights and reverse lights. I think I would like to move to a more "cool" color to replace the warm look which would also match the led strip on the yukon head lamps.

I was looking at these for fog light replacement:

Any advice or pictures from what you have used would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
-Travis

I swapped out my H11 bulbs for H9 bulbs. Extremely happy with them. You have to trim off a tab inside the connector on the bulb. Easily done with a razor. Or hot knife. Bulbs are brighter, whiter, patterns well with a wider beam. H9bulb: 1700-2200lm; H11: 1100-1400lm

the hotter bulbs could damage the projectors. Even more if they also work as Drl on base model Tahoe and suburban. Watch out for this.

I have been running them for almost a year.. no issues and no heat problems.. they also have and actual fan in the unit. On the Yukon the DRLs are separate

The comment was specifically about the Tahoe with Drl on low beam projector.

It would be great if you could give us a shot and do a comparison. You would be very impressed with our lights. I highly suggest you to move away from led bulbs on projector headlights.
