Looks nice with a drain plug. I just wonder if it clears exhaust to go in/out easily.

They make two covers for the 6L80, stock depth and a deep one. Being cast and not stamped, they are thicker and therefore probably require removal of the Y-pipe to drop them. I used to run these on my Buicks way back when.

This is what I bought from summit racing last fall.. I just put it on..
It's really nice.. Extra capacity and a drain plug too.
I only had it on for a day before I removed Y pipe and manifolds for headers.
But with the aftermarket exhaust I won't have to drop it to remove pan anymore.
It should help quite a bit with cooling too.
I've used this type of pan on my 700R4, 4L60E, and 4L80E with lots of success

Oh, and use the stock size filter and gasket too
