The issue is the plugs just don’t fit. I reordered from another vendor on eBay with the right connectors but that will take another 5 days, but I didn’t want to shell out $300 to GMC. FML

No I get that. What was trying to explain is that I took the connectors apart and repined them into the connectors that do fit for my airbag. You could do the same if you still have the plugs from your old clock spring

That might be beyond my pay grade. Lol. Is it difficult? Thank you for suggesting it.

Not really. Once you pop the connectors apart with a small flat head screw driver, the terminals come right out and press into the other style.

Where it gets tricky is, you need to figure out what plug belongs where. So it might be wise to just wait for the replacement to come in.

In my case mine only had 1 plug on the airbag. So I tried both, one wasn’t recognized by my airbag system and kept throwing a light, the other turned the light off, so I kept that one plugged in. The other plug just sits behind the airbag system

Don’t really wasn’t that difficult and now works perfectly. I just kept the wires in same position and all worked out ok. Thank you for the assist!
