For people who need an answer, I plugged the power source for heated steering wheel to BCM under the drive side dash. I will try to post some pics later today.
I tried one spot with a spade connector first and it wasn't getting enough power for heat will turn on and then off on the steering wheel. I found another spot using test light and this one seems to work better. I haven't done a long term test on a long drive, but it didn't turn off like the first time. Do not use the fuse box. Use the BCM under the dash that is RAP or only on when car is on.
BTW if you need a pic of box he's talking about I can shoot one real fast I have my cover off at the moment

You’re welcome. My spade connector is too big but it gets the job done. Just make sure you make it tight on there Abs you should be good

That's the upfitter box.

I used it to wire my dash cam. I was able to get ground, constant power, ignition switched power, and RAP (retained accessory power) from there.

Mind sharing a picture of your setup when you get a chance please?

Hey Amaster, I ended up getting the harness like an idiot but you only need that clock spring that has the wire for heated steering wheel.
Harness doesn't do anything since BCM is not programmed to even recognize the wires for heated steering wheel through the harness.
