I love my hid lights, But in the rain, snow, fog, etc. im better off with my old halogens because they give off that ugly yellow tint that shines through precipitation. Not reflect it.

So i went to Advanced, Bought an $18 kit. And installed. Enjoy guys. Not really a big deal but i wanted to share. I think it adds a nice look to the front end also. Plus being able to control it from my dash is great :) I think HID fogs are next :)

Its quite simple, all he has to do is take the two leads that plug directly in to the bulb, and plug them in to an H3 HID kit. Retro-solutions is the only place you can go for these as they are the only company I know of that makes the H3 MINI and Super Mini bulbs. Im betting yours use the super mini bulbs.

OOh I thought it was for visibility in rain, snow & fog. Atp least that's what I got from the first post.

I did intend on them being a saftey upgrade as i figured it would help me see more in the fog and rain but my HID headlights are so bright they basically cancel out my fogs. I guess i need some projector fogs or hids

That looks really good. I have a question though, how did you mount them and since driving around, have you noticed them moving around at all?

That is a good idea. Maybe retrofit a a projector style lens into a stock headlamp. And install a 9005 bulb with the 3000k hids.
