I just can't justify spending over $1500 to have my rocker panels and quarter panels replaced. I saw a link to the Bushwacker rocker panel covers, they are just some molded plastic. So, I thought I'd order some ABS plastic, and attempt to heat it up and mold it to the contours of the rear quarter panels. Predrill some holes along the top edge, glue and rivets to hold it in place at the lower body line, then heat it up to conform to the quarter panel.

While I know it won't be perfect around the rear of the QP, that area is basically hidden by the bumper, so if I did have to make a few notches to make it conform, no big deal.

Thoughts?

I think if you get the measurements down it wouldn't be too hard. And if you mess it up just heat and bend again.
Could be nice to have a more custom look to it as well.
