yes, you can pull the fuse to disable the abs. all works fine, just no abs. so the wheels can lock up now if your ******* them.
i pulled the abs fuse in my regal 7 years ago cause it was acting up past my will to fix it. it stops better all around even in snow.
if a ebcm was the fix id have done it, but its a bad wire or some crap.
the shop use a abs scanner for codes? a lot of the time when the ebcm goes bad you are unable to connect with the abs scanner. first solid clue the ebcm is bad. other then the slow speed engaging of the abs, like slowing to park, or coming to a stop.
for reference its located under the drivers seat pretty much tucked next to the frame and under side of the trucks body. brake lines run to and from it. new they cost a arm and a leg. there are laces that rebuild them and they test em first, so if they test good they wont fix it and your only out the shipping. they run about 100 bucks or so for the repair. or a junk yard would be the next step. be rather cheap there.
iirc theres a vid on yt where a guy shows the repair, the board gets some solider points broken off. so if you can solder you might want to open it up and see if you find it busted like the vid shows.
found one fast enough
