Just got a 2012 ZR1 with 116,000 miles. except for light carpet stains looks almost brand new. Exterior almost 100% Got it from a dealer for $11,350 out the door---is that good? Complete service history on it from the same dealer who sold it to the owner then took it back in trade or a new 85,000 dollar suburban. (Where do these people get their income??!!) Its loaded. ANyway--from a slow speed making a stop, unless you gently slowly stop, as soon as the front end pitches down a bit you can hear what sounds like rusty springs skronking a bit then as youi accelerate the same except hardly nocticeable. So its the compression phase doing it, Ive heard slightly rusty brakes from a car setting a long time make that noise but the rotors are great and pads about half way. Sounds like rusty coil springs I had on a 53 Ford, lol. Could be many suspension parts, shocks, brakes in some form, I cant think of much else--anyone? I know youd have to hear it but Ive tried to describe it well. Oh, if at about 1/2 mile an hour you pump the brakes like you were trying to shake something off the hood it goes skronk skronk on each forward dip. Im afraid my good deal might not be.

Pics of the truck, please.

Could the sound that you hear be a noise from a bushing rubbing on metal? Front sway bar bushings immediately come top mind, as they tend to make noises when their lube runs out. You may want to check them and lube them up, if needed.
