I am getting ready to do a complete a/c overhaul in my 99 Tahoe.
ac compressor
hose assembly
accumulator
a/c pressure switch
a/c orifice tub

When replacing the hose assembly what needs to be removed to disconnect the hose assembly from the condenser? The rest of the job looks pretty straight forward. should I be expecting any surprises?

thanks

All I used was big crescent wrenches. I was able to take everything apart with two of them.

Also, when ordering, note that the orifice tube, hoses, and accum is different between front only and those with rear A/C.

As Sun said, all you have to remove is the front grill; careful with those clips at the bottom. And of course the air intake assembly to get the main hose and orifice.
