99 Yukon slt interior light problem

I have a 1999 gmc Yukon slt I’m having problems with the interior lights always staying on I change all door jambs and still nothing I’m having to pull the fuse to turn them off any solutions

Did you check the rear hatch switch and that the dimmer knob isn't turned all the way up?

Yes I did and nothing everything is working but lights stay on till I have to pull fuse

If could be a defective headlight switch itself. I had to replace mine last year because it was doing strange things.

The GM manual will have the diagnostic procedures for the interior lights. The manuals can be downloaded here, go to post #77 for the 1999 links:

Push in the "Overide" button by the headlight switch, instead of pulling the fuse. I have run my truck for years like this. I will check my barn doors now that I am thinking on it. I have replaced both contacts at front doors.
