Hello i have a question.

I have a 99 Denali and i replaced the engine with a 117,000 miles in it and my original had 150,000 but 2000 miles later my tranny went out it dont have reverse or third and four gear.

Well ? is would a 350 turbo transmission would bolt on with minimal modification?

Thanks in advance

Why not just go with the 4L60, or whatever it came with? A direct swap requires no modification...

Good luck!!

Because i can get one for a few hundred dollers but if its to much work i just get mine rebuild and that would have to wait because a shop here charges me $2000 to rebuild it.

I have no idea. If you don't get any help here from others (many mechanically inclined here), my next best advice is to go to a junk yard, and pull the parts, and measure them side-by-side.

The Th350 would bolt up no problem only thing is that your computer might be going crazy since the th350 is not electronic. Also 4l60 has 4 gears with over drive and the th350 only has 3 gears with no overdrive. Not worth in my opinion just get another 4l60 from junkyard.

TH350 is a dumb idea, it will cost more in the long run (tcase adapter, lengthen drive shafts due to shorter trans, crossmember difference, computer problems. etc....), stick with a 4l60e and be happy, besides, a TH350 is not that great of a transmission either.
Also, you will have to modify throttle body to accept the TH350 kick down cable.

depends on what your getting from the yard, some times quality is more important the cost, other times not. i had mine rebuilt and im still living with problems, so its not always the best. But you might get a lemon from the yard you never know, on a side note some yards warranty parts.

A well capable shop with all parts in stock should be able to get it in and get it back out no more than a week. maybe less if they not to busy

All depends on the volume they have. My buddy R&R my 4L60E in 2 days and with performance parts that I purchased for him. I personally think you should go to a tranny shop and ask for labor ONLY to remove overhaul and reinstall the tranny, while you get the parts. I just went that route because I have a heavy foot, tow alot and do not want to mess with more tranny problems in the future. I paid around $1600 after all was said and done and thats including all the Heavy Duty clutches, corvette servos, alto red eagle clutches, sonnax valves, HD band, transgo shift kit etc...
