98 Yukon radio problems please help

I just bought a 98 Yukon the radio in it would come on but no sound, I bought a new radio installed it and same problem. I took a 9v battery and the front door speakers sounded and the ones over the back doors sounded but not the rear doors? Current goes to speaker but it still does not play? I hooked up the blue wire from the factory harness and I could hear something under the dash turn on but still no sound, UGh!

Hey mike , first off you posted in the wrong section your in the NNBS section for the 07+ trucks no big deal if you can repost this in the correct section for your year make and model , thanks
As for your Question im not quite sure have you checked all wires and fuses? im not the most knowledgeable with audio sorry but post this in the right section and someone else with more knowledgeble will chime in thanks
