It's been awhile since I've checked on this thread...since then I've add a pair of Cognito upper control arms. The new arms helped the ride quality tremendously! Day and night difference. I also added a pair of 2 inch Rough Country wheel spacers to the rear to match the front..all 4 tires are even now and it seemed to make the truck a little more stable also. Spacers have been on for about 15k miles now with no issues. Next mod will definitely be some amp research steps and black bear tunes. I also want to add some rear drop brackets to the rear control arms..RCX is the only kit that doesn't include these brackets...not sure why? But I've heard they tighten up the rear end so the truck doesn't feel as wobbly..just can't seem to find a company that will sell them seperately, so if anyone knows where I can get some that'd be great!
She might be for sale soon! My gf is ready to get a diesel like me
We also just lets a good friend of mine detail her for 3 days. He spent close to 30 hours on just paint correction. He washed it twice, clay bar, dual stage polish, compound, and put a nano coat wax on top that's good for 2 years. There's not a single swirl or scratch visible, even in direct sunlight. He even wet sanded a few bigger problem areas. I'll have to get my camera out and take some high quality close ups. Really impressed on how good of shape the paint is for an 07.
We paid 400. Normally it would've been around 550 but he was cutting us a deal. The nano coat was an extra $100 though. We could've just done a regular wax for 50 but figured it was worth the extra. Just the nano coat bottle costs $80. I forget the brand , but everything else was done with menzerna or meguiars(stuff you can't buy in the stores).
I personally like Adams products but I really didn't have the time or the skill level he has to make it as perfect as possible.
so whats her MPG like? i have a 14 silverado with 35s but looking to sell and lower my payments. willing to continue my bad MPG but not lower it.
any resolution on the stablitrak issue? my silverado will do it on one turn (u turn) i make driving to work, but you said it was freaking out; does it kick and apply brakes/cut power?
