6.0L Fuel pump?

As many of you know, I did the 6.0L swap. I can start the truck no troubles with some tuning now. However, if I drive to store say, buy some groceries, then try to start the truck it doesn't want to start. I have to crank it quite a bit. I assume the fuel pump is struggling once it's been heat soaked.

That aside, I'm trying to figure out if the 6.0L has the same fuel pump specs as the 5.3L? If so I'm just going to order an OEM fuel pump module.

Any clue if it's the same fuel pump 5.3L & 6.0L?

Yes, the 2001 5.3L Tahoe and the 2001 Yukon 6.0 on RockAuto show the same pump: ACDelco MU1615

Awesome thanks! Yeah, silly me, I was trying to compare the 2500 silverado w/ 6.0L and it has some different fuel tank setup. I didn't think to try the Yukon! Great thinking.

Curious what other differences there are on that Yukon, if it's a full 2500 chassis?

What I posted was the shorty Yukon, so it should be somewhat similar to the Tahoe.

I wasn't sure if they just slapped a 6.0L in the same chassis or if that shorty Yukon is a full out 2500 chassis. I've been slowly replacing what I can with better built / HD stuff on my truck. Been a fun project!

The Yukon 2500 calls for a different pump assembly but is likely for the tank difference

Thankfully I ordered from the 2001 Tahoe part of the catalog. I have the codes too I order WAY too many car parts. It's an ongoing joke, I have no car payments, but with as many parts as I buy I pretty well make up for it.

Curious anybody know the specs on the pump? I think that's all that important; I have the flow and pressure to meet 6.0L requirements if any different.
