I am a new Yukon owner, but a long time GM fan. i just bought a '05 Yukon and would like to learn as much as i can about these trucks....

if you had to choose 5 of the best mods that are available (outside of wheels, ride height and stereo) what would they be? i've read about the quad or 6 headlight at once, and the vette servo... they sound legit... but what is this about some electric fans?? i looked and i've already got dual electric fans on my radiator.... elxplain this mod to me...

thanks..

05's and up come with the E-fans so that is one less mod for you to have to do, the vette servo firms up the shifts between 1st and 2nd gear.

I'm more for looks first so my list goes
1. wheels
2. lowering
3. debadging/removing roof rack
4. colormatching all chrome + blackout tails/clear corners
5. Shaving my tailgate and removing exhaust tip

Most others will say BB tune, CAI, Vette Servo, Lowering, Exhaust!

for me #1 is debadging and removing the side moulding, made a HUGE difference.
then probably colour matching the chrome
3rd would be LEd tail lights
4th is my projector headlights with HID's
and 5th is probably e-fans (which done right, lead to 6, which is a BB tune)

when you say color match the chrome? do you mean, get rid of the chrome and make everything match the paint?

kinda like 06tahoe this is what i did when i first got my truck, the first few days i had i started modifying it as much as possible:
1) Limo Tint
2) Viper Alarm
3) Indash DVD with new speakers and 4 15s
4) Clear lights and HID's
5)debadged, demoldinged, painted the rear pillars to match and put on a rollpan
6)24s
7)LED Tails
8)lowered it
9)intake/programmer
and the list goes on..... but if it was my choice i would have done the rims first thing, but in your situation you can take the same route i did

  4. Wheels & tires
  5. Debaged/remove molding
  6. hid headlights w/ projectors
  7. Led Tails

I still need to get a BB-tune, LT-headers, and a supercharger would be nice :) still want that 3-5 drop but working on performance for now

I would say it depends on what type of mods you want to do. Power, Looks, Stereo, Etc.

I can't even remeber the first mod I did to my truck its like crack you just cant ever stop.

I agree with what other said about color matching. I did it on my Yukon Denali and it totally changed the car.

My favorite mods on my truck are
1) Supercharger, Corsa, and headers
2) Wheels
3) Painting all the chrome and black plastic white to match my car.
4) Suede interior
5) My built-in computer and stereo.

Heres a couple links to some pictures of my truck.
