I have an 04 Tahoe with the 5.3 I'm new to the ls engines and am curious if a misfire will kick a misfire code and knock sensor code

What makes you ask the question? Are you having issues now or just curious?

Having issues now, I have a #7 misfire and it kicked a bank 2 knock sensor code, I can clear the codes and the misfire code comes right back then a few minutes later the knock sensor code comes back as well

Try switching the coil to the other side and see if the misfire code changes to the corresponding location. That will help narrow down a bad coil. How many miles on it,? Maintenance that was done?

It would not be out of the question for a misfire to trigger a knock sensor. Check your plugs and wires. How old are your plugs and wires?

It would trigger the knock sensor, but wouldn't give a code for the knock sensor.

Yes, how many miles on the plugs and wires and has been suggested, swap a coil to see if the problem follows the coil. Have you even pulled #7 plug to inspect? Post a pic of it here.

If you pull #7 plug, pull #5 and do a compression check on both and compare readings.
