installed an Amazon catch can, exactly the same as the one CORSA advertises. Said it was for 6.2 Camaro but fits 100%. I do want to clean up the hoses and add a drain valve in the 3/8 pipe plug but for now works. I do recommend and "hook tool" to compress the connectors on the OEM fittings.
FYI all that sludge is from about 100miles

All the junk from the PCV system is routed through the intake runners and intake valves. In a port injection engine this is no big deal since gasoline is a cleaner and is sprayed into the intake runners\onto the intake valves. On direct injected engines, the gas is injected directly into the combustion chamber so it never gets a chance to clean the intake runners or valves. Add a catch can to to the PCV system to "filter" out this crud, and empty the catch can when needed.

Depending on how many miles you have, you might want to get the intake valves cleaned. You can do it yourself (I did with walnut blasting) or pay someone to do it.

How did you do it yourself with blasting walnuts? Is there a video you referenced? Thanks

I installed one on my ‘24 yukon right off… the more i read on it.. it looks like the coking on the intake valve.. the hardness of opening it with coked on the intake.. is what busts the rollers/afm.

I am going to add in another catch can so nothing gets past into the intake.. i have 1/4 cup in mine with hwy driving.. each 3k… or so.
