Ah I see. Good reasoning indeed. I felt like the Nitto NT420S tires did great this past winter for me.

You didn't have a problem in the Colorado snow? I've heard from numerous sources that the 420s don't do well in winter weather. I'm thinking about them for my next tire but am a bit apprehensive due to what I've heard.

Wow and check out the price difference between GY 305/40/22 ($724) and GY 285/45/22 ($1,048)...who woulda thunk it?

Really? I guess the AWD really helped out in the Esky then bc I had zero problems with em.
