People gush of Toyota/Lexus, but these models are right there with them
In the continental US at least, my experience is that most Toyota trucks / suvs do NOT last as long as most GM trucks / suvs,
largely because Toyota owners 'lean too hard' on their reputation for 'reliability and longevity',
and also tend not to maintain them any more assertively than the manual says.
(Actually this is likely the same reason why most Cadillacs don't last as long as most Chevys / GMCs.)

All easily repairable if you wanted
I got new leather and seat heater on mine
I’m sure the oil is a gasket

Yes I have had the oil leaks (5-6) diagnosed.. Its pretty involved as most of the gaskets are leaking and would require many hours of labor to address.. I have gotten 3 quotes. all in the $5-6K range

they told me that I had 6 major leaks and that most of the gaskets on the engine/tranny were shot (24 year old vehicle not surprising)
Looks like I’m running on borrowed time

I have replaced just about every gasket on mine except the head gaskets. but its leak free and doesn't use oil. just drove it on a 2k mile trip and didn't have to add any. I used to need a quart to get back home. 308k now I think. I have replaced the front seat heaters, as well as both front seat bottoms.
