285/60R18 tires fit on 2001 Yukon Denali?

My 2001 Yukon Denali has factory 265/70R17 tire size. I'm looking to upgrade to 18x9 wheels with 285/60R18 tires. Would these fit without any suspension modifications? (Prefer not to make any suspension adjustments because I also do seasonal swaps of winter tires which will keep the stock tire size during the winter).

The new 18" wheels have 0 offset. Since the OEM 17" wheel has some positive offset, this new 0 offset would bring the 18" wheel 5mm outward.

The diameter of 285/60R18 is 31.5" and the OEM diameter of 265/70R17 is 31.6" - so it's going to be all about the width increase from 10.4" to 11.2" (0.8" - 5mm outward = 0.6" difference inside).

It seems like a small difference but I'd like to double check I can keep everything stock, no trimming or alignment changes.

When I bought my '02 Tahoe Z71 a year ago, it came with 265/65R18 (31.56" tall).
Sitting still on the ground, 0.5" clearance or less between the tires and the wheelwells when the wheels were turned fully left or fully right.
Hit a bump mid-turn, however, occasional evidence of the tires' corners making light contact with the wheelwells.

That's actually why I switched to 255/70R18 (on OE GM 18" wheels).
Now it's 1.5" clearance or more, everywhere.

Forced to guess, your 31.46" tall tires, on wheels that stick out 5mm further, might make some contact?
My next tires might even be 255/65R18 (31.05" tall) or 275/60R18 (30.99" tall).

Thanks! This is very useful info! I have decided to keep the stock size 265/70R17, as this turns out to be a very good size for a mix of on-road handling, fuel economy, and enough sidewall and fender clearance for some off-roading.

That was the what the Z71 off-road package included for wheel/tire upgrade.
I agree the width and sidewall ratio is excellent for combined highway and mild/moderate off-roading.

I just got Cooper AT3 4S all-terrains. Smooth, semi-aggressive tread, but not loud, Sever Snow rated. Very grippy on wet, snow and slush. Soaks up RR crossings and bumpy roads really nice.
