We had an annoying rattle that we figured out was only happening when the 3rd row seats were folded down. Pretty sure it was a headrest contacting the 2nd row seatbacks but honestly haven't noticed it at all lately even though the 3rd row spends a lot of time folded down

Rattles always drives me nuts. You could always take the dash apart and use a little caulk here and there. I’ve used it a few times on various areas on my wife's Yukon exterior parts with great results.

Yessir on the dash rattle here. Mine was coming from the middle and it was the center speaker contacting the bracket holding it in place or something along those lines. They supposedly adjusted it, added foam, then test drove to ensure the rattle increased. They were 100% effective in their repair.

It’s back in to have other items of concern corrected and one more shot at fixing the dash rattle. Third-time’s a charm!

Thank you. Very helpful. We actually found one today in the rear.

The usb-c plug in 3rd row was actually making a surprising amount of noise.

I’ll take it in for the center speaker. That’s exactly where mine is located. If they can repair the center dash rattle then I’m good for awhile.

I have the SAME thing, thank you for this!

I also have a rattle in the center dash, below the infotainment screen, around where the heating and volume controls are, that one is the most persistent and the most annoying

I also have a rattle when bass hits in the driver door.

I'll be taking the vehicle in after the new year to handle all of these.

Same issue with rattles here. Have the dash rattle under nav screen/above the radio controls, seems to be coming from the piece of trim below the screen. Front passenger door rattles with any kind of music with bass. Center console cup holder doors both rattle and the trim piece along the side of the center console that your leg can rest against also rattles on rough payment on the highway. Have a rattle coming from rear passenger door, tried to get kids to locate but they couldn’t locate it so I will have my wife drive and I’ll sit back there to find it. Have a roof liner rattle at rear of sunroof and something is rattling in the drivers side car rear/hatch that I can locate when my wife drives, sounds like it’s coming from under the third row seats maybe. Rattles trigger my OCD and with what I have already with so many rattles, it’s driving me crazy. $85k vehicle shouldn’t rattle like a tin can.

Mine also has the dash rattle and I've been unable to locate it. It drives me nuts! I was able to fix the door panel rattles myself. The leading edge of the plastic door panel was making contact with the metal door frame on both front doors. I bought some foam tape on Amazon and just put it in between the plastic and metal. Fixed in seconds, hasn't been back for months. The dash is another story though! I'm also noticing a wind noise in my drivers window that wasn't there before. 13k miles now.

Yeah, it does suck. This is my 2nd 2021 Yukon and it rattles now (9500 miles). Creaking sound from instrument cluster. Sounds like the clear plastic is rubbing the hard black trim. Now a rattle coming from where headliner meets the plastic trim that seat belt is attached to (left side of my head). 2nd row seats creak a God awfull sound intermittently.

Then on drive home today I saw a new Yukon Denali getting pulled onto a tow truck while at a gas pump. Lifters I suppose.. Crazy, these trucks really are problematic (I lemon law'd my 1st 2021).

How did you fix the 3rd row usb-c plug? Pretty sure I have that one as well. There is a lot of play in the right rear usbc plug and the sound seems to carry throughout the cabin.

Dealership had my car for two full days.

They were able to completely fix the rattle in the drivers door when the bass hit, that's been awesome! i am a big music person and didn't even enjoy listening to music with the bass rattle. I can confirm it's completely gone and I had it really cranked. They mentioned they had to tighten some screws in there.

The creaking/rattle below the infotainment screen is BETTER, but it's not completely gone. They had taken apart the entire area and put it back together with vibration removing adhesive.

I will probably take it in again at some point, but I don't feel like doing it now. It's the last and only rattle i'm still dealing with and now that I can crank the music :)

Just found out the cause. It’s the retainer clips underneath the vehicles heat shield by exhaust. They fall out. I’m missing 2 and have been dealing with the noise for almost a year before anyone could figure it out.

Did your infotainment area stay better? I couldn't take mine anymore and took all of it apart yesterday. I put foam tape everywhere that plastic touches plastic. Took me a few hours. The main problem area was where the chrome trim around the infotainment screen touched the plastic from the climate control. Foam tape between, all is quiet again.

I was about to tear the dash out of my 2023 suburban with this issue but after riding in the passenger seat and tapping the dash and infotainment screen I realized that it was actually the plastic around the rear view mirror and the sound was resonating down to the dash. I put a little foam strip between it and the windshield problem solved. Hope this helps I have seen many people with this issue on Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban

I really really really hope someone from GMC quality control is lurking this thread.

These rattles and squeaks, they matter. GM (all brands) are notorious for being noisy on the inside. If they desire to move up the luxury scale these need to be fixed before they land with customers.

Of the vehicles in the garage, the wife's Denali is the worst for squeaks.

Well, my old rattle in the center console is back. Does anyone know an easy way to remove the large side panel of plastic that is right beside the passenger seat? the long one that meets the carpet? I hear my problem and it is behind this panel....

Here’s a video for installing a wireless charge mat on the center console lid… they take apart most of the center console in the process, so maybe it at least helps you get started?
