Since new I've been unable to get any Park Assist warnings on my 2025 Yukon, plus all the other related systems features such as auto park and cross traffic braking. I originally tried pressing the "P" button and got the unavailable response, thought it must be I hadn't set something up correctly and put it on my "to do" list. Between being out of town and other delays it finally came to the top of the list yesterday when I realized it's more than a set-up issue.

I'm getting a dash alert which says "Rear Auto Brake and Park Assist Unavailable" plus selecting auto park comes up with a similar unavailable response. I've gone to the Settings:Vehicle:Collision/Detection Systems page on my main screen and turned everything to the "Off" setting, shut down and powered up again, then selected each of them on individually, pressed the "P" button ... but it still shows unavailable. I even disconnected the battery, removed fuse 43 from the rear fuse block (power for the control module) then powered up again. Now when I press the "P" button it says "Rear Auto Brake and Park Assist Off" but when I reinsert the fuse the old unavailable alert comes back. Ugh!

Before calling the dealer and committing myself to a 250 mile round trip of frustration, has anyone else seen these issues? Anything in any setting I'm missing? I've seen some reports of newly delivered vehicles awaiting modules, but that seemed a year or so back. Is it possible that I'm missing a module, or is this just an infant mortality issue?

I had a similar problem. Dealership spent 4 weeks trying to fix it and eventually they bought it back from me (I picked up a new one). I went back a few weeks after I got the new car and they said they finally fixed it. 2 Image processing units failed, another was improperly software flashed, but they FINALLY got it fixed. They said they are shipping it out out of state w/ a Lemon Law title.

Could be something simple like a loose connector.

Have you done a hard reboot on the informant?

Problem solved .... LegalBrief was correct, a disconnected park assist connector! I went round every sensor, front and rear, even using a remote camera to get at those I was unable to directly eyeball. The offending connector was tucked behind some structure but I was able to get a hand in there and reconnect/lock by feel. Not sure how the vehicle passed PDI at the dealer, but that's another story. I now have a whole bunch of features I've not seen before ... the park sensor display, with its seat warning, auto park, etc.

I only have 3 months and 2,500 miles no issues on my 2025 yukon other than i tried using the self parking mode and it never goes thru i dont need that feature just thought it be cool to use once but not sure of taking it in to the dealer and have something else fail so for now its staying as is, i have noticed that after turning it off close door and walk by the rear bumper i can hear it beeping that its detecting someone but its off and only does it for like 10 sec and goes away, check under ur bumper and see if anything is disconnected/damaged

Bigdaddy88 - I posted earlier that I found the issue. It was a disconnected sensor up front, between the metal bumper and the plastic facia ... tough to see and a real challenge to get hold of to reconnect. I've had 4 vehicles with the self park feature and it's like a party trick ... use it once, then just do it manually. However, in this case I also lost all the other features associated with the parking sensors. The display showing proximity to other objects around the car at parking speeds wouldn't even come on ... it does now.
