2023 Tahoe/Vibration in the 30 mph range?

2023 6.2 Tahoe here...

Does anyone experience an mild rumble in the 30-39 range when accelerating?

It seems more common when you slow down and accelerate back up.

Almost feels like the vehicle is one gear too high. High gear rumble?

Don't really feel it as much when taking off from zero, but then again, I go through 30 mph range pretty quickly then.

Seems more common at slower acceleration.

Pretty sure that's normal, unfortunately; due to DFM and transmission in too high of gear. I've noticed this with both of my 2021 Yukon's. Placing the gear selector to L9 seems to solve it, but then I lose 2 mpg minimum. I use it during city driving.

What's the most common speed ranges for the DFM?

It that what I'm feeling the 75-85 range?

How much of this the Brickstone tires?

If you feel it at 75-85 then probably not DFM. At higher RPM; from my experience it runs well. I'm no expert on DFM, but when at a higher RPM I don't think DFM is activated. At the slower speeds, when you accelerate I definitely feel the "rumble you describe/high gear sensation", but not at high RPM/speed.

That's exactly what I'm feeling.

Hopefully it's just a "I'm in a higher gear than I need to be issue" and nothing serious.

Which Engine do you have?
I don't recall feeling any vibe or rumble on mine...I'm at around 13k miles now.
6.2L.

If take off from 0 mph and go past the 30s you don't really feel it. It's really happening more often when you slow back down to 15-25 mph and slowly accelerate back up.

It's the same feeling as when you stick in a higher gear.

I would try what @B520044 said about putting it in M9 and see if that changes it. If you accelerate more spirited from a slower speed (ie: more pedal input to deactivate DFM) does it feel the same?

I'll try that when I get back.

It's at the dealership now trying to find the squealing/chirping issue that just started when stopping or cruising at 15 mph.

I think this causes the transmission to stay in a high gear longer, thus making me feel the rumble described. This way of driving may also allow the DFM to be more active, which again makes me feel that as well. Those that drive with a heavier foot likely see more shifts and less DFM activity. How is your driving habit? Curious if my theory is way off...

Yes. I'm very easy on the gas pedal in the and around the city.

I may speed on the highway, but very lite in and around town.

I rarely press that throttle past about 1/3, my wife is always saying I "drive like an old man." To which I reply, "I am old!"

Net, I would not describe my driving as spirited in the least.

The dealership spent 2 mins with it and said it's a known issue and that there's already a new redesigned valve body for the 21-23 trucks.

The part is on order and takes 2-3 weeks to arrive.

Awesome. Something else wrong with this truck.

Okay, I asked somebody the same thing, they said at first the valve body seemed to help but not long after it started back, hopefully it’ll fix mine for good.
My dealer said that there is a brand new version of the valve body. You had to make sure that they were replacing the valve body with the newest model. It's a 6-week lead time to get one of the new models. So the question is whether or not they used the older model or the new model.

Okay thanks for telling me that, I will make sure of that if they decide to change mine out.
