2016 Escalade esv LIVERY edition. (What is it?)

I was looking at a brand new 2016 Escalade esv at my local dealer and they told me it was the LIVERY version of it.. Does anyone know what the difference is between the Standard trim and the Livery trim? Are there any drawbacks to purchasing the Livey model?

A quick Google search shows that it's a transport fleet package (basically a limousine) and similar to the Platinum. I don't know if this applies to the 2016, but, according to the article I read, the 2017 has 10 additional inches of legroom for the 3rd row seats and bigger rear doors to allow easier access. The pics all looked the same as a regular ESV to me, though.

I am not sure that is the case witht he 2016 livery models.. I heard some bits and pieces of info over the last few months,,, such as , they have longer bumper to bumper warranties, and that you need to have taxi plates in order to buy them.. But I have not heard anything about the length being different (regarding the 2016 earlier models) I tried calling Cadillac customer service, but they are clueless..

That's what I was reading from.

The last paragraph is what's special about the warranty. The length.

Usually livery version adds black leather interior bigger sway bars different shocks and springs and and a higher amp alternator. That's standard but I am not certain that is what the escalade has.

I took your advice and called them.. They told, me that there is no difference between the livery and the standard, other than the powertrain warranty,, the livery has it up to 150k,,, but I think you have to prove to them that you are using it for livery purposes.. All I really care about is that it has the 4/50k bumper to bumper,,, and it does,,

Yes It was,, he did seem very down to earth..

The limo place near my job has Escalade limos that have about 6" extra headroom and like 16" extra length between the doors. I'll try and get a picture of one tomorrow.
