2015D vs 2015I

Besides the 8 speed gear box what else is different between the D and the mid years? I just bought mine 3 weeks ago but it's a D, love it but just curious.

Ok so 8 speed tranny wifi hotspot and charging get armrest. Was that an option before cause my denali had a decal about phone charging on the center armrest.

Gotta wonder how much money GM made doing a mid-year upgrade and people trading in their very lightly used D model

Keeping my D.. and if I upgrade I'm going full on Escalade Platinum. Of course that isn't happening, as I'm waiting for the new CTS-V to replace my '12 V Coupe

Yes we use (D) as discontinued. and (i) interim.

OK.. that makes sense. That being said I have no desire to go thru even the 2-3 hr BS process (even when paying cash ) of sitting in a dealership to trade "up" for another 3 years.

Hey... on my D (dinosaur/discontinued) everything actually works. 4x4, no crazy brain blowing/head exploding noise, etc, etc. I'm afraid that if I traded mine for an I - I would get a POS that would make that "buffeting noise" that would make my head explode if I went over 30 mph heading southeast with the LF window down 1/4".

Probably 2017 or 2018 when GM launches the 10 speed built between GM and Ford. Ford has said the F150 will get 10 speed for 2017.
