This is a step back though. I suppose they want to penalize the people who don't have a lot to spend.

So now unlike the nnbs that ride similar across the lines..... there will be a big difference in ride in the premium trucks. Making people want them more.

I suppose its a good way to create demand for a premium product.

Most people have no clue what suspension they have and they figured the ride is good enough ... this reeks of beancouters.

I also like the fact that coils are easy to bag with a KM kit.

Leafs don't ride as nice as coils on rough roads.

I had a Ford Excursion. I know.

Don't knock Depeche Mode, although the original version of Personal Jesus by Johnny Cash is still the best.

Knocking it? Along with New Order they're my favorite bands of all time. :happy160:

Iirc, gmt900 Silverado and Sierra trucks had leafs too. I hardly see this as a step backwards, but merely better utilization of parts. Besides, the suspension has very little to do with me choosing a truck. Engine and drivetrain are my top reasons. Suspension matters in performance cars.

Trucks usually do use leafs but Ram went to a linked coil suspensions on their 1500 and 2500s (not sure on 3500s) and they are able to produce a factory air suspension which is far superior to leafs.
