I am in need of a 17 inch black wheel for a 2014 PPV.

The Discount Tire guys screwed up the mounting holes for the chrome cap.

Does anybody know the GM OEM Part number? Or, maybe somebody has an extra wheel laying around.

TIA

You could always drill new holes, or try to retap your messed up holes. I bought some Silverado 17's and drilled and tapped bolt holes for the center caps.20200503_145645.jpg20200505_165403.jpg20210406_191136.jpg

Why isn’t the tire shop replacing what they damaged?

I recently went through exactly this scenario recently with another vehicle. Tire shop scratched my hubcap while fixing a puncture. I took a photo and pointed it out to them; they replaced it without protest. With an OEM part, too (I checked).

The simple answer is; a bolt that was being removed came out with a slug of metal that came from the wheel when they removed the chrome cap to replace and balance the tire.

The problem becomes, where does the this new larger bolt go when this wheel is rotated to the spare?
I always do a five tire rotation.

You can just rotate the cap and drill/tap new holes for the center cap bolts.

Judging by the size of the metal slug that is fussed to the center cap bolt, I would have to drill and tap a 1/2" or possibly a 9/16" hole.

I think it would be more prudent to simply replace the wheel and stock bolt and put some anti seize compound on all twelve of the center cap bolts.

Does anyone have the GM OEM Part number for the 17 inch black PPV wheel/rim?

Sorry about your wheel woes. You can get a PPV rim from LKQ online.
If you haven't gotten one yet, you can search for your model year or any years 2007-2014. The type of rim you need is: WHEEL 17X7-1/2, STEEL, 8 HOLE, PAINTED, (OPT QV9)
Prices can vary depending on the location of the salvaged vehicle, but they currently range between $106.10 - $117.75 and shipping is free.
My 2012 PPV didn't come with a spare tire so I ordered a rim off a PPV from there for just under $100 (free shipping). That was in 2020.
