I have a 2009 Tahoe LTZ. I replaced the batteries in my key fobs and they stopped working. I have followed the relearn process by turning the key on to the accessory position, selected relearn remote key in the vehicle menu, press and hold both lock and unlock on the fob. The problem is I never hear a chime after holding the buttons for more than a minute. Odd thing is both fobs will raise/lower the tailgate, and unlock the tailgate window. But they won’t lock/unlock the doors or remote start. Anyone have any ideas??

I have seen where the pads for the most used buttons on key fobs go bad over time.
That would be the lock and unlock buttons, of course.
I would open up the key fob and try cleaning the 'contacts' with rubbing alcohol on the end of a Q tip and see if that helps.
If not, then I would just buy a new key fob and program it to the vehicle.
But, it is awful strange that they both stopped working at the same time.
