I've got everything just about finished, found switched 12v on a pink wire in the harness inside the center console. Is there a better option to use? Id love to have the wire the turns on the bose amp so the sub amp cuts off when the radio does and not just power on and off with the key switch.

What you've got is pretty much your best option. You could probably pull what you're looking for from the back of the radio, but not sure it's worth the effort.
