Hello everyone,

I have a 2012 PPV Tahoe I just bought, and it has a broken handle (as in the grab handle to pull the door shut). On eBay I see tons of door panels marked for 2007-2010, but none (or maybe one in the wrong color) for 2012+. Is there a difference? It looks the same, but I don't want to invest in an older one only to not have it fit.

My Mitchell Crash Book only shows them different by year for the Cadillacs. All the others are by color and placement only.

There is a difference in the front door panels between 2007-2009, and 2010-2014. The switch bezels are also different. The rear door panels stayed the same from 2007-2014.

Long as all the mounting points, behind the panels and the plugs inside the doors are the same, it's all good.

Well cr*p. I already ordered the door panel not having noticed any difference. Now I see it plain as day. As Tonyrodz said, as long as it fits, it's all good. Since the only problem is the pull handle, perhaps I can just remove it from the new door panel and put it on the existing one .. oh well, a weekend project.

The newer type switch bezel will not fit the older style panel. Been down this road with my '14 PPV. Hope to find a used one eventually or buy new. Seems to be a common problem. Too bad they don't sell the the handle part separately.

Do you know if the connections are the same? I'm fine using the older switch assembly included with the door panel, especially since it has the power fold buttons.

Connections are same. Bezel different. You could undo your switch from the bezel and put your old bezel on. It’ll mount no problem
