2003 Yukon XL dash question

I have two open spaces under the radio on my 2003 Yukon XL. There is a cig. lighter on the left, an opening on the right, but those spaces...worthless.

Anyone have ideas on how to best use them? I would love to cover them and add some phone mounts, but I'm new to this so I'm not sure where to find such an item.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum David.

If you poke around here a little bit, you will see a lot of ways guys have modified their consoles in various ways. Hopefully some of those folks will comment here.
