2001 Tahoe daytime running light issues

I recently replaced my DRL sockets and installed LED bulbs but they dont come on inless i remove the relay and install a jumper wire in the relay sockets. I even tried replacing the relay and still they dont work. Anyone know what im missing to make these work as they should?
