Good morning all. I just bought a 2000 Yukon about a month ago and it has been a fantastic ride! When I test drove the vehicle, it ran perfect and I didn't feel the thud I'm about to describe. I bought it from a gentleman and he said that he had the transmission rebuilt 6,000 miles prior to me buying it.

But lately, I've noticed that sometimes when I come to a complete stop and release the brake to go there is a thud. It also does this sometimes before I come to a complete stop. It might be my imagination but it appears to be getting worse. Does anyone know what this might be? I don't drive it rough at all and I'm very meticulous when it comes to my vehicles.

The SES light came on as well and when scanned by an Auto Zone scanner its reads a code of P0446. Can anyone shed light on this as well?

Thanks for any feedback and have a good one.

Bad Ujoint? maybe a internal trans pressure issue? or maybe even a servo or a piston hangup in the trans.

P0446 is a gas tank vent issue, most probably a gas cap.
